Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and deployment of core infrastructure technologies associated with traditional security countermeasures (firewalls, VPNs, IDS, etc.), networks, systems and other infrastructure.
• Presales tasks including onsite client needs analysis, proposal development and presentation. Security audits including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, architecture design evaluation, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Security or related disciplines.
• 3+ years experience in the information security field.
• Intense passion for the information security discipline.

Technology Related Skills

• Experience with the design and deployment of security technologies such as firewalls, virtual private networks, intrusion detection systems, anti virus solutions, public key infrastructures, authentication systems, etc.
• Experience with the design and deployment of both LAN and WAN technologies.
• Operating system expertise including Windows 2000/XP, Linux and Solaris.
• Experience performing security assessments using both commercial and open source tools including: ISS, WebInspect, Appscan, nessus, nmap, superscan, etc.
• Experience with core infrastructure technologies such as DNS, Active Directory, LDAP, email messaging, web servers, web proxy servers, etc.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills a must.
• Professional Skills:
• Strong written and communication skills a must.
• Prior experience in the IT consulting field a plus.

• Vendor Certifications: Checkpoint, ISS, Nokia, Cisco, Trend Micro

Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Market, prospect and sell nGuard solutions to named accounts inside a defined sales territory.
• Develop and maintain mastery of nGuard's solution set.
• Maintain current and accurate account, contact and forecast data in nGuard's customer relationship management system.

Qualifications

• Professional, articulate, organized and seasoned sales professional with a demonstrable track record of selling IT solutions in North and South Carolina.
• Previous account contacts that will vouch for account management skills and professionalism is required.
• Intense passion and drive to work with a group of veteran security professionals in the rapidly changing information security industry.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Security or related disciplines a plus.
• Specific sales experience in the information security field is a plus.
